Tender Care Is Always The Right Response … For Those Who Want To Make A Difference And Promote Peace

The desire to intentionally bless others is truly Christ-like in every way … and thus it is entirely beyond us.

It will be His words spoken through us that will bring life and His compassion being expressed from us that will bring meaningful impact to others.

Our efforts alone, though well-intended, will never be enough.

We will need to make ourselves fully available to the Lord, be obedient to open our hearts to Him and to bravely build ourselves up in Him.

We take this on because we know that this truth always remains …

As we learn to love as He loves, we can carry His love and care to others … and their lives will be changed. Broken hearts can be mended, painful wounds can be healed, and shattered lives can be made new.

This is what we are seeking to attain …and in doing this, we position ourselves to serve His purposes and to see real life transformation.

We take this on because we know that this truth always remains …

Tender Care Is Always The Right Response … For Those Who Want To Make A Difference And Promote Peace

Here are two verses that I want to always have before me.

1) Finally, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything, worthy of praise, dwell on these things. (Philippians 4:8)

This verse has been at the forefront of my heart for many years because it reminds me of just how much I have to build into my life and what I must forever practice, protect and nurture.

2) A soft word turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. (Proverbs 15:1)

This second verse became important because I knew that when words that hurt were spoken from the lips of those who were supposed to help … it not only became a deep wound … it actually had the potential to devour a soul.

With these two realities at work in our hearts, the tender care of the Father will be seen in us.

The words I speak, the work of my hands and the flow coming out of my heart are all expressions of His tender care.

It is important for us to remember that …

Tender care is always the right response …
– for those who have been reviled and rejected
– for those who suffer a staggering loss
– for those who are hurting and are hopeless
– for those who have had their dreams devoured
– for those facing crushing challenges

I know that I want to be one of those who takes on this task!

And you?
