Seek Wisdom, Speak Truth, Stay Focused … And Maximize Your Life Potential

Living a life that is rich in purpose will surely be one that is ripe in potential.

Honestly, there is nothing more powerful than living this kind of life … and as you can imagine, it demands a high level of pursuit and passion.

Certainly not an easy pathway for us to take on but the outcomes are well worth the high price that we will need to pay.

Charles Stanley in his article, “How to Reach Your Full Potential For God” helps us get a grip on just why the struggle is so great.

“There are reasons God’s people lose their hope, their sense of purpose, and their joy. There are reasons life becomes just one long bore.

In my opinion, the foremost reasons are: (1) people have lost sight of who God made them to be and what He designed them to do; and (2) as a result, people are not actively, intentionally, and purposefully pursuing what the Father has planned and desired for them.”

Seek Wisdom, Speak Truth, Stay Focused … And Maximize Your Life Potential

There is no doubt that we will need the great wisdom of God to guide us through this process. Equally, we will need to be fully committed to telling ourselves the truth and to staying focused on the mission.

From this position, we can find our place in Christ and begin to live out all that He has desired and designed for us. There is nothing more dynamic than engaging in this process and staying engaged at all costs.

This is the message that is being communicated to us in 2 Peter 1:5-15, “So don’t lose a minute in building on what you’ve been given, complementing your basic faith with good character, spiritual understanding, alert discipline, passionate patience, reverent wonder, warm friendliness, and generous love, each dimension fitting into and developing the others. With these qualities active and growing in your lives, no grass will grow under your feet, no day will pass without its reward as you mature in your experience of our Master Jesus.” ~ (The Message)

This is who we are and what we need to be purposefully pursuing.

In his article, Charles Stanley also asks us some powerful questions, “Are you excited about your life? Or do you feel as if you are merely existing? Are you moving with confidence toward a desired goal? Or do you feel as if you are drifting along from day to day without any sense of purpose or direction?”

All of us need to pause and ponder here … and allow the impact of these questions to penetrate our hearts in a most profound kind of way.

Seek Wisdom, Speak Truth, Stay Focused … And Maximize Your Life Potential

This is what we are made for … and the only place where we will find His great pleasure and our greatest potential.

I know that there is no place I would rather be!! How about you?
