In Times Of Great Turmoil … It Is Always Better To Talk Less And Trust More!

It seems that our world is once again in great turmoil.

We are being carried away by a whirlwind of wicked events that seem to literally overwhelm us.

Each one of us could make quite a list of deeply troubling issues that are actively present in our world … and they are driving us to desperation, division, and despair.

Honestly, we are at a moment that can not be explained or excused … so what we end up with is a lot of observations and opinions.

What we long for are understanding and clarity … but what we see are things that are uncontrollable and chaotic.

These are the moments when we need to awaken to this great reality …

In Times Of Great Turmoil … It Is Always Better To Talk Less And Trust More!
The truth is that when we are uncertain we tend to talk more and trust less … which is the exact opposite of what we should do!

We feel a need to try and figure everything out so that we can move on from our “time of trouble”.

We are simply not inclined to slow down and wait for the wisdom of the Lord to be given to us … and yet this is what we are instructed to do. Psalm 27:14 makes this so clear for us,”Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.”

Brittany Yesudasa, in her article, “How to Trust God, Even in Difficult Times” says this, “Life is not predictable. There are ups and downs along the way. Many of us want to trust God. When times are good, it can feel easier. But when times feel difficult, it is even more important to trust God. God’s unchanging character can give us a firm foundation when things feel unsteady and uncertain.”

In Times Of Great Turmoil … It Is Always Better To Talk Less And Trust More!
Certainly not easy to do … but getting this right is so critical for us.

The more we try to talk it out, the more we lose the possibility to trust Him more!

These are days when we should not be seeking for discussions and debates … but rather strive to come into a place of discernment in Him and dependence on Him!

This is what the Father desires from us!

In doing this we demonstrate that …

▪ we know these battles are not ours … they are the Lord’s
▪ we intend to pray our way thru and not to push our way thru
▪ we need solutions that are beyond us

This is where we want to be and there is nothing better than this for us!

In Times Of Great Turmoil … It Is Always Better To Talk Less And Trust More!

This is our duty and our task to take on!

I know I am in … and you?
